Derek serves as pastor of small group network development at Saddleback church in Lake Forest, CA. He has been active in leading small group ministry for youth, young adults and adults since 2004. Derek is a native of the Pacific Northwest and loves coffee, droning, and enjoying the outdoors and visits to Disneyland with his wife and four year old daughter.
