2018 Vision Day with Steve Gladen

Every year, Pastor Steve Gladen invites all of the small group pastors from each Saddleback Church campus to his home to talk about vision. The day is filled with laughter, meaningful conversations and strategic information intended to create unity across all campuses! Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don’t drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups… Test it out. If you fail the test, do something about it.

HONESTLY COMMUNICATE

We are careful to be honorable before the Lord, but we also want everyone else to seethe we are honorable (2 Corinthians 8:21)

So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbors the truth, for we are all parts of the same body. (Ephesians 4:25)

    • Affirming/Encouragement – (You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. Hebrews 3:13)
      • Truth Telling – (Get the truth and never sell it; also get wisdom, discipline, and good judgement. Proverbs 23:23
      • Now I say to you that you are Peter an upon this rock I will build by church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.
      • Jesus turned to Peter and said “Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s. Matthew 16:13-23
